There are a few specific criteria you cannot overlook when hiring your wedding photographer.  Besides having technical knowledge and experience, your photographer must have excellent interpersonal skills.  It doesn’t matter how much one knows about photography if one cannot make the client feel comfortable.  The last thing you need is to feel tense while working with your photographer on your wedding day.

A professional photographer must have (at a minimum):

• Experience and technical knowledge
• Personality
• Customer Service Skills
• Presence (professional attire)
• Insurance
• Back up equipment
• A contract specifying services to be provided
